Critics often charge that television's portrayal of violent and sexual themes powerfully affects its viewers, especially children. I believe that TV greatly influences it watchers special when its a younger viewer. I can say from person experience that television effects children, for a example my girlfriend is a full time nanny she watches a little girl that is 5 and boy that is 8. The little girl asked why did a guy try to give my girl friend his number when she already had a boyfriend. The nanny said he didn't know i had a boyfriend. The little girl replied yeah, because guy have to have a hot car and hot cloths to have a girlfriend. When asked where she came up with this, she said of thats what the people on the television show " the secret life of a teenager". With decades of research saying that children should not watch any tv under the age of three. teens that watch TV with sexual content have a high chance of teen pregnancy
